Nothing is more important than safety.
For us, this is a deeply personal commitment, because our employees and contractors live in the communities where the pipeline will be built and operated. So, our commitment to safety is more than just a professional commitment; it's a promise we make every single day to our own friends, families and neighbors.
Under strict state and federal oversight, we use multiple, overlapping layers of protection at every stage of the project to ensure public safety. In many cases our safety measures go well above and beyond regulatory requirements, because that's how we do business, and we believe it's the right thing to do.
The industry’s vigilant focus on safety is the reason underground natural gas pipelines are the safest form of energy transportation in the country – far safer than transporting other fuels by truck or rail. In fact, according to the most recent statistics available, more than 99.9 percent of all the natural gas transported through our nation’s pipelines was delivered safely and without incident.
The ACP Team believes in a policy of Home Safe for Everyone throughout the construction of the pipeline. Learn about how we’re giving safety 110% in every community along the route.
