Atlantic Coast Pipeline Restoration Plan Approved

See Our Message Below

Message to Our Communities

On July 5, 2020, we announced the cancellation of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP). After thorough review and public input, on March 24, 2022, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved a Restoration Plan to conclude the project. The approved plan is the best way to conclude the project with minimal impacts to landowners while protecting the environment.

On November 10, 2022, FERC authorized Atlantic to begin restoration work with the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. We expect restoration work will begin in the first quarter of 2023 and, provided there are no unforeseen regulatory or other circumstances, will be completed by the fall of 2023. There will be up to three (3) years of post-restoration monitoring required by multiple agencies.

We will be contacting affected landowners to discuss the timing and scope of restoration work on their property. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we complete this process and will maintain updates on this website.

For further questions, landowners should contact their land agent directly.
